Staff members Karl Jennrich and Scott Ridderbusch presented the application and recommended conditions, including: compliance with Oneida County sign regulations (Chapter 9.78); off‑street parking requirements (Chapter 9.77); screened dumpsters and recycling; downcast, shielded exterior lighting; and operation six days per week with hours set to begin at 10:00 a.m. and run to allowable tavern service hours pursuant to §125.32, Wis. Stats. The committee adopted a motion by Billy Fried, seconded by Dan Hess, to set the days and hours as described and then approved the full permit with the eight staff conditions (all members voting “Aye”).
A member of the public, Brian Hahn, spoke during the public portion of the hearing. The record shows the required Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Northwoods River News on June 23 and 30, 2026, and posted at the Oneida County Courthouse bulletin board on June 18, 2026. The permit requires any applicable health and sign permits be obtained before operation begins. The committee did not attach any additional restrictions beyond the staff‑recommended conditions.
