County opens bids for salt/sand storage concrete work and six‑month asphalt contract; awards tabled

Keri Lyles read bidders for County Bid #COM1‑2130 (concrete slab and walls for a salt/sand storage facility, ARPA Project #3.006). Bidders named included Bruce Johnson, Medlin Mud & Steel, 4J Foundation, Ladonco LLC and Foundation Inc., with line‑item totals ranging across submissions; the board directed Purchasing to tabulate and qualify the bids before awarding. Lyles also opened bids for Bid #HWY‑2131, a six‑month non‑encumbered contract for asphalt materials (term Feb. 11–Aug. 10, 2025). Bidders for the asphalt contract included Haskell Lemon Group, Logan County Asphalt, T.J. Campbell Paving Material LLC, Trinitas Materials and others. The board voted to accept the bids and postpone award decisions pending Purchasing review.
