The Tinmouth Equity & Inclusion Committee opened its March 27 meeting by approving prior minutes after a motion to accept was made and seconded. "I'll make a motion to accept the minutes," a committee member said; another member seconded the motion and members responded "Aye."
Following routine business, members proceeded to reorganize after town meeting reappointments. Melody Squire accepted a nomination to serve as chair and was confirmed by voice vote. A member nominated Rainbow Squire for vice chair; the nomination was seconded and approved. The committee also agreed to postpone naming a permanent secretary; Melody Squire will serve as acting secretary until a volunteer is found.
Members set a recurring meeting cadence of every other month (the fourth Thursday) and recorded May 22 as the next meeting date. Several members were reminded that the select board will reappoint committee members on April 10 and were asked to confirm continued service.
