During the Feb. 9 meeting, Chief Deputy Lisa A. Cosby emphasized operational steps to ensure timely mailings to absentee voters.
Cosby also told the Board there must be sufficient postage available on the Pitney Bowes machine at the Government Administration Building to support double mailing of ballots. The Board recorded this as part of the preparatory work for the April 14 referendum and the April 21 election. The Board set the Logic & Accuracy test for Feb. 12, which staff said would follow standard procedures at the Registrar's Office on The Glebe Lane.
