Darren Moon, County Engineer, confirmed the annexation boundary is to the centerline of the road and stated that responsibility for road maintenance is addressed within a 28E agreement between the county and the city. Latifah Faisal moved to approve the resolution and Lisa Heddens seconded; the motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
The resolution’s approval means the annexation will proceed with the correction Harter supplied; the Board did not list further conditions in the meeting minutes. The county noted that a resolution becomes effective upon signature and that the public can inspect signed resolutions during business hours at the Story County Administration Building.
