County staff invite Lower St. Croix Watershed Partnership to present and review zoning for water protection

Land Services Coordinator Beth Gervais told the Board that the Lower St. Croix Watershed Partnership and its consultants will give an introductory presentation to the Planning Commission on Feb. 5, 2026.
Gervais said the consultants offered to review Chisago County's Zoning Ordinance at no cost, with the intention of suggesting amendments to sections directly connected to water protection. Board members were invited to attend the Planning Commission presentation.
The offer to review the ordinance was presented as a no-cost service to the County and will be presented to the Planning Commission first.
