Woodward County commissioners approved several six-month material contracts for road maintenance on June 22, accepting low bids for gyp rock and limestone chips.
The minutes list Hoskins Gypsum's 1/4" screenings at $5.00 per ton and Arcosa's 1/2" gyp rock at $10.50 and $11.50 per ton. For limestone chips (B-26-8), Dolese Brothers submitted a single bid listing 3/8" at $29.05 per ton and 5/8" at $28.85 per ton. "Motion was made by C. White to accept low bids on limestone chips," the record states; each motion passed with all ayes.
