Woodward County creates Rainy Day Fund, transfers $3 million from contingency

The Woodward County Board of County Commissioners voted on June 22 to establish a Rainy Day Fund and move $3,000,000 from the general fund contingency into that fund.
Chairman Clint White moved to approve Resolution R-26-42, citing 19 O.S. § 1410, and the motion passed on a voice vote of all ayes. "Motion was made by C. White to approve transfer of funds from Contingency Fund $3,000,000 into rainy day fund," the minutes record. The board also approved a separate resolution to transfer rainy-day funds out of the county general fund for FY 26/27.
