Mayor Wallace briefed the Council on a March regional meeting in Benson that discussed data centers. He said presenters explained modern data-center cooling often uses circulated oil/water mixes and that agriculture typically consumes more water than data centers. Wallace urged residents to update their information before drawing conclusions about regional impacts.
