Residents ask for completed pedestrian path from lower to upper Huachuca City, sidewalks to schools and traffic calming

Several residents asked the Town to complete pedestrian connections and add traffic calming measures. Julian Barclay called for finishing the paved path that links upper and lower Huachuca City to provide safer, non‑vehicular access to the library and Community Center, and he urged cleanup of derelict lots that discourage use of public space.
Councilmember Danielle Cardella and other residents recommended additional signage, speed tables or speed bumps on neighborhood streets to address speeding, and requested that a sidewalk between the school and the Activity Center be considered so children could avoid goat‑head‑covered ground while walking to after‑school programs. Mayor Wallace said those items will be included on the candidate list for further study and potential funding.
