Director Joseph Tart told the Board that a parcel adjacent to North Sunrise Park Reserve was previously listed for sale and has been purchased by a buyer who has expressed interest in acquiring 40 acres of the Reserve. Tart said that County Administration will make the final decision on any sale and will take the Parks Director's opinions into consideration.
The report to the Board was informational: no motion, vote, or formal direction was recorded at the Jan. 15 meeting. Board members did not take public comment during the meeting on the potential sale; any change to the Reserve would require action by County Administration and follow applicable county procedures.
