Checkerboard Park dog park fence replaced; reopening expected Jan. 26 as maintenance team reports multiple projects

Parks Maintenance staff are replacing the dog park fence at Checkerboard Park and expect to reopen the area on Jan. 26, Director Joseph Tart told the Board. "Hope to have the Dog Park open again 1/26," Tart said. The Board requested the report be distributed to members by email.
Tart outlined a range of ongoing maintenance tasks: locating a groomer to service the mountain bike course, grooming a sledding hill at Dennis Frandsen, repairing a trailer, installing a truck back rack and strobe lights, purchasing an equipment shop lift, and researching pallet racking for storage. These items were presented as operational updates; the Board did not take formal votes on the listed maintenance items during the meeting.
