Woodward County awards road equipment and services bids, tables several six-month materials bids

At its June 29 meeting the Woodward County Board of County Commissioners accepted several procurement bids for road work and equipment. The board accepted the low bid from Dub Ross Company Inc. for grader blade and bolts (B-26-5), accepted the only bid for the six-month tires contract from K&S Tires (B-26-11), and approved the low bid for Trackhoe Services (B-26-12) from Dustin Donley Construction at $120 per hour, down from the other bid of $165 per hour from Maverick Trucking.
The board also tabled two six-month procurements for further tabulation: B-26-9 Road Materials (two bids received from Dub Ross and Railroad Yard) and the six-month Road Striping bids (Action Safety and Advanced Solutions). All procurement motions were recorded as passed unanimously by the commissioners present.
