The commission approved Resolution 26-17 to recommission eight corrections officers at the Somerset County Jail (Jeannie Waugh, Anthony McNally, Scott Libby, Joshua Hansen, James French, Thomas Crane, Shanna Brown and Austin Ayotte). Commissioner Seekins moved the motion and Commissioner Alsop seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
A separate resolution (26-18) to approve a promotion to Corporal was struck at the County Administrator's request because the promotion process had not been completed; the item will be placed on a future agenda when the process is concluded. Commissioners later approved Resolution 26-19 to recommission Deputy William Crawford IV to the Somerset County Sheriff's Office on a 5-0 vote.
