Todd Burton told the commission the business serves local farmers and that the expansion is intended to meet local needs. A neighbor, Darren Yutze, spoke in support and the commission approved the conditional-use request by roll call. Staff told the applicant he may now apply for building permits and offered assistance with the application process; the county reiterated that required technical approvals must be in place before permits are issued.
