Staff told the commission the application, by Matthew Myers and Jory Radowski, proposed to care for up to 12 children Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 2–4 employees on site depending on enrollment, and to use the existing well and septic systems. "The applicant is requesting to operate a group home day care with up to 12 children," the staff presentation said. The site plan shows seven parking spaces and a fenced play area.
No members of the public spoke in favor or opposition. After closing the public hearing, a commissioner moved to approve the permit; the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote. Staff said it will provide the applicant with the completed zoning approval needed for the applicants’ state licensing application.
The decision allows the operators to proceed with state licensing and any required inspections; no additional conditions beyond the standard site- and health-related requirements were listed during the meeting. The commission’s action is final for the planning commission level; the applicant must obtain the state license and comply with any permit inspections.
