Pipestone Area Schools board approves FY27 budget

The Pipestone Area Schools Board voted unanimously on June 22 to approve the district’s FY27 budget. Brad Carson moved for approval and Katie Wiese seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Treasurer’s reports and financial details were presented during the meeting: the board recorded year-to-date expenditures through June 20, 2026 of $15,913,203.14 (88%) and accepted the treasurer’s report showing a cash balance of $8,384,992.98 for the month ended May 31, 2026. The board also approved payment of regular bills totaling $579,707.19 through June 15, 2026 and high school activity bills totaling $26,027.27.
