Winona County board approves MnDOT detour agreement, joins AmeriCorps Recovery Corps program

The Winona County Board on May 12 approved entering MnDOT Detour Agreement No. 1061986, under Resolution #2026-11, allowing County State Aid Highway Nos. 22 and 39 to be used as a detour during construction on Trunk Highway 74 under State Project No. 8508-38. The resolution authorizes the Board Chair and County Administrator to execute the agreement and any amendments.
At the same meeting the board approved participation in an AmeriCorps Recovery Corps program and associated fee to provide project coordinators and navigators for the Recovery Corps project. Both actions were approved as part of the consent agenda or presented together during the consent portion of the meeting and carried with a unanimous vote where recorded.
