At its Aug. 6 regular meeting the commission approved a motion to pursue a DOT roundabout relocation grant.
The work-session record of Aug. 26 shows County Manager Thomas Weaver said the roundabout remains on schedule and that construction was expected "around the beginning of the year." The manager listed the project among routine infrastructure items and said staff would continue coordination with GDOT and grant partners.
