Commission approves SPLOST bank account and LMIG road change
Summary

At its Feb. 4 meeting the Cusseta–Chattahoochee County Commission approved opening a bank account to hold SPLOST funds and approved a request to change a Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) project from Riverbend Road to Friendship Road.
Commissioner Jason Frost moved both motions; Commissioner Timothy Biddle seconded. The minutes record the board's approval of the SPLOST bank account and the LMIG change; no dissenting votes were recorded in the minutes. The LMIG action was described in the minutes as a change from Riverbend Road to Friendship Road, and the board recorded that LMIG paperwork had been forwarded to the county's engineer so bid packets can be prepared (reported during the Feb. 24 work session).
County staff later noted in the Feb. 24 work session that LMIG paperwork had been sent to an engineer "so we can get the bid packets ready." The board did not adopt a specific construction schedule or dollar amounts for either action at the Feb. 4 meeting.
