County approves three-year AFSCME contract for Water Resources employees

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on April 9 executed a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Ohio Council 8, Local 2686, covering the Water Resources Department bargaining unit for the period Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2027.
The agreement was approved unanimously and the Board authorized Human Resources to process personnel actions necessary to adjust rates of pay in compliance with Article 20 (Wages). The action continues the county's labor relationship with AFSCME local representation for water resources staff.
