Williamsburg resident urges commissioners to address addiction, shelter and transparency

Union Township resident Jen Mazzuckelli told commissioners that people in the county would benefit from transitional programming and housing and said residents fear cuts to Social Security and other benefits. She cited guidance from the National Association of Counties and urged the Board to hold more meetings and provide clearer information to the public. The Board did not take immediate action in response to the comments; public comment was heard as part of the regular session.
