Clayton County interim superintendent: district ready to welcome more than 50,000 students on Aug. 3

Hendricks said the district expects to receive "more than 50,000 students" and named Aug. 3 as the day when "the doors of every Clayton County public school will open once again." He described readiness as extending beyond facilities to include enrollment assistance, transportation information, nutrition services, curriculum resources, open houses and technology support so students can begin learning on day one. The speech closed with a call for continued community collaboration to sustain safe, welcoming learning environments.
