District reports no seclusions or restraints during past year, board hears

Chris (speaker 8) presented the annual seclusion and restraint report on July 27 and told trustees the district had reported no seclusions or restraints during the past year for district students or those placed outside the district.
"You'll notice that we have reported that there are no seclusions or restraints this year," Chris said, noting the report covers students within the district and those placed outside via placement options. Board members acknowledged the finding as positive news and asked no further questions.
The report will be part of the district's annual compliance and monitoring materials.
