The Williams Bay School District board approved a budget amendment on July 27 transferring $150,000 from Fund 10 (unassigned fund balance) to Fund 46, the long‑term capital improvement trust fund, consistent with the district's 10‑year capital improvement plan.
"I move to approve a budget amendment transferring $150,000 from fund 10, unassigned fund balance, to the fund 46, long term capital improvement trust fund, in alignment with the district's approved 10 year capital improvement plan," a trustee said when making the motion. The motion was seconded and the board voted in favor.
The administration characterized the transfer as part of ongoing capital planning; trustees did not raise objections during the July 27 discussion.
