LaToya Peel, the county's elections director, told commissioners the nonpartisan municipal election for local towns will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025; polls open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. She said Windsor allows early voting (Oct. 16–Nov. 1, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) and that absentee ballots became available Oct. 3 with a local deadline of Oct. 21 for those who need them.
Peel described the State Board of Elections’ voter‑registration repair project, which started in August: of 305 initially flagged voters in the county, 231 remain on the list. She encouraged residents to check the State Board of Elections list and submit corrected registration forms; the local registration deadline is Oct. 10 at 5:00 p.m.
