The Carlton County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 26-018 on Feb. 23, 2026, expressing the county’s support for Laveau Butcher Company’s application to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture for grant funds to purchase equipment that would enable the company to expand USDA-certified meat processing. The resolution was approved as part of the consent agenda after Member Bodie moved its inclusion and Member Reed seconded; the consent motion carried with all members present voting yea.
