Nobles County appoints two members to Okabena-Ocheda Watershed Committee

The board approved two appointments related to the Okabena-Ocheda Watershed Committee. Steve Bousema was approved for another term running Nov. 1, 2024 through Oct. 31, 2027. The board also agreed to appoint Tom Ahlberg to a manager position when Jay Milbrandt's term ends Oct. 31, 2024; Ahlberg has served on the committee's advisory board previously and expressed interest in a manager role.
The motions were moved and passed in the administration presentation section of the agenda. These appointments will be processed by county administration to take effect on the dates noted in the minutes.
