The resolution adds $130,000 from a Lake Michigan Grant Program for stream and wetland restoration on Sucker Creek in the Town of Belgium; $200,000 from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District to support implementation of a conservation easement at the Ansay Family Nature Preserve County Park; and $11,446 from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Lake Monitoring and Protection Network to support aquatic invasive species vegetation monitoring and outreach on inland lakes, streams and rivers in Ozaukee County. The motion was moved by Supervisor T. Richart, seconded by D. Clark, and approved unanimously; the resolution will advance to the County Board for final action on Feb. 5, 2025.
