Warner (S3), who provided the town's water and wastewater update, said crews “found shut offs that **** said weren't there anymore because they got plowed over and they were there in 1 piece.” He said the crew marked the valves and that Brian is expected back in two to three weeks to finish the remaining work.
Warner said a DES representative spent about four hours reviewing sidewalks and water/wastewater systems and that the town expects a report with suggestions and recommendations in a couple of weeks. Warner described the DES interaction as helpful and said it may generate contacts or funding leads to help upgrade the town's infrastructure.
