The Nobles County Board of Commissioners convened Oct. 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Government Center Board Room in Worthington and approved the meeting agenda and consent agenda, which included Oct. 8 draft minutes, travel expense reimbursements and vendor warrants.
Chairperson Justin Ahlers recorded the meeting opening and the board registered the attendance of Commissioners Robert S. Demuth, Chris Dybevick, Bob Paplow and Gene Metz. Commissioner Robert S. Demuth moved to approve the agenda; Commissioner Chris Dybevick seconded and the motion passed. Later, Commissioner Bob Paplow moved and Commissioner Gene Metz seconded approval of the consent agenda; that motion also passed.
The board heard brief inter-agency and administrative reports (library updates, negotiation status, and project reminders) and scheduled future meetings including the AMC District 8 meeting on Oct. 24 and a work session on Oct. 30. The meeting was adjourned at 10:24 a.m. at the motion of Commissioner Bob Paplow, seconded by Commissioner Robert S. Demuth.
