Hunter said the Town appointed Brent Bateman, a land‑use attorney who contracts with municipalities, as a one‑person appeal authority for land‑use appeals. She also reported that Lonny Bailey and Bruce Ahlstrom are working on a new cemetery site near the green‑waste facility, with nearby property owners willing to grant access for the project.
Hunter said the Town raised parking fines to $150 to align with Weber County and provided a short update on Powder Mountain property discussions, saying owners will come before the Planning Commission when plans are finalized. She also indicated the Town is considering revisions to the Use Table to reinforce R‑1 zoning for single‑family homes.
