Judge-Executive William Dakota Young convened the Caldwell County Fiscal Court on Nov. 26, 2024, where the court approved a set of procurement and compliance documents for the GCPL Expansion Project.
Magistrate Jeff Simms moved to approve the package — acceptance of the KCDBG Procurement Code; a Title VI Statement of Assurance; a Drug-Free Workplace Certification; and a DLG Assurance Letter — and Magistrate Brent Stallins seconded. The court recorded the vote as "yes, unanimous," and the motion passed.
The approvals clear administrative prerequisites the court must certify for the project to proceed with grant-related procurement and compliance. The court record notes the items together as part of the GCPL Expansion Project (attachments referenced in the meeting packet).
