Committee members approved the contract by voice vote after a motion and second. The administration said the contract package includes a minimum hourly rate of $28 for members of RESA beginning next year and several language cleanups related to titles, holidays and programmatic allowances.
School leaders said the changes were intended to raise support‑staff pay while keeping the district fiscally responsible; no vote details beyond a unanimous voice aye were recorded in the transcript.
