Rockport student rep urges peer mentoring, calls library 'not the most inviting'

Lassa also asked the committee to invest attention in the school library, saying the space is "not the most inviting" and lacks study areas. "Cleaning it up a bit would help. Go to the library. Get some work done," Lassa said, arguing an improved library could offer after-school tutoring and support for struggling students. Committee members responded that student voice matters in policy and programming and encouraged continued student participation at future meetings.
