Erie County staff conducted an independent review of the Town Tavern site and, according to board remarks, "concurred with the town engineer" but recommended adding additional filter sock and plantings to stabilize slopes. Members said the contractor committed to adding matting and additional filter sock and the agreement to formalize transport of spoils was sent to the town attorney (Tyler) for review.
Some board members emphasized prior failed attempts (including unsuccessful hydro‑seeding) and asked for a written report or email documenting what was done and who would complete the work. Speaker 3 offered to inspect the site, talk to the contractor and email findings to the board ahead of the next meeting.
