Board approves Altafiber internet service for SWORTC, and DJFS contracts Pressley Ridge for CANS assessments

As part of the consent agenda on April 16, the Board authorized Dorothy K. Meier, Director of the Department of Job and Family Services, to execute a Service Agreement (Q-00087528) with Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, LLC, dba Altafiber, to provide advanced internet service and one flat business phone line at the Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center (SWORTC) located in Loveland for $94.98 per month, effective April 8, 2025 through April 7, 2027, contingent upon release of the required purchase order.
The Board also executed an agreement with Pressley Ridge for Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessments that will be provided to children/youth in the care or custody of the Department of Job and Family Services as referred, at a rate of $150 per assessment and a total not to exceed $4,000, effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Those agreements were part of the consent agenda approved unanimously.
