The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on April 16 adopted Resolution Number 041-25 to revise the boundary of the Miami Trails - Woods, Estates & Sanctuary (WES) Stormwater District to add 25 lots from the Miami Reserve development. The resolution specifies that services will be provided only within the revised district boundary and cites Ohio Revised Code Chapter 6117 as the governing authority.
Jeremy Evans, an engineer who addressed the Board during discussion, explained that subdivisions with storm drainage problems may petition the county for retrofitting and that the adopted boundary revision is an example of the county using stormwater district authority to address drainage concerns. The adoption passed unanimously by roll call vote.
