Page County EDA re-elects officers, approves routine invoices and affirms level funding request for FY27

At its Feb. 2 meeting, the Page County Economic Development Authority completed routine organizational and financial business, including election of officers, approval of invoices and direction on next year’s budget request.
Leslie Currle moved to re-nominate the 2025 officers to continue through 2026: Missie Deibert as chairwoman, Jonathan Comer as vice chairman, Sara Levinson as treasurer and Rebecca Armstrong as secretary. The motion was seconded by Dennis Fleming and unanimously carried. Fleming moved to approve the EDA’s 2026 meeting schedule (posted on pagecounty.virginia.gov); the motion was seconded by Comer and unanimously carried.
Commissioners reviewed the January financial report prepared by Treasurer Sara Levinson and approved two invoices—BotkinRose PLC for $825 and Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates PLLC for $2,800—after a motion from Jonathan Comer that was seconded by Dennis Fleming. The EDA noted its current operating budget of $11,500 is earmarked for legal/accounting services and member stipends and agreed by consensus that Director Nina Fox should request level funding for fiscal 2027.
