The Huntsville Planning Commission on Aug. 26 approved a land-use permit for a proposed new home at 240 S 7500 E (parcel 240100016). The project builder described the design and site placement; commissioners discussed and confirmed building height and setbacks meet current code.
Commissioner Suzanne Ferre moved for approval; Chairman Allen Endicott seconded and the motion passed with all votes "Aye." Commissioner Liz Poulter reminded the group to consider dark-sky compliant lighting for exterior fixtures. The permit form included standard setback confirmations and the commission noted that any post-issuance changes must return to the commission for review.
The builder will proceed with standard building-permit applications and inspections through Huntsville Town’s building-inspection office.
