The Huntsville Planning Commission approved a land use permit for a carport at 6895 E 200 S (parcel #240210007) on June 18. Mr. Lyon told commissioners he planned to place the new carport on an existing concrete pad to store a boat; the permit packet (Attachment #3) shows a structure size of approximately 32 by 13 feet.
PCM Poulter moved to approve the permit, PCM Larsen seconded, and the commission recorded a unanimous vote of approval (all Aye). The approved land use permit includes standard setback confirmations for Huntsville's R-1 residential zone.
