Huntsville council approves Miss Bee Haven business license

Huntsville Town Council voted to grant a commercial business license to Miss Bee Haven LLC at its March 5 meeting after the applicant explained the business'level change that prompted the request. "Because of the wholesale nature of their business they did not previously need a license," Lewis Johnson, the owner and council member who presented the item, said, adding the bank required a license for a planned purchase.
Mayor Richard L. Sorensen moved to approve the license and the motion passed on a roll-call vote. The council recorded the approval following the town's standard business-license review; no conditions were noted in the minutes. The action was handled as a routine municipal filing item and does not include additional approvals or variances.
