Caldwell County Fiscal Court — During the Dec. 10, 2024 meeting the court approved several administrative and grant-related items. Magistrate Jeff Simms moved, and Magistrate Jeff Boone seconded, approval of Task Order 24-01 for Strand Associates related to the US 62 Trail Grant; the court passed the motion unanimously.
Also approved unanimously was a Sub-Recipient Legally Binding Agreement for a CDBG grant with the George Coon Public Library (motion by Simms, second by Boone). The court voted to reschedule its regular Dec. 24 meeting to Dec. 23, 2024 (moved by Simms, second by Boone), approved treasurer transfers, authorized payment of presented bills, and approved repayment to the clerk's office for printing 2024 property tax bills. All administrative motions passed by unanimous vote.
