Council reviewed and approved multiple temporary-use permits and block-party applications at the July 13 meeting. The permits reported by the clerk included: Only Fights Federation LLC at the DoubleTree by Hilton (2349 W. Marlton Pike) on July 18, 2026; Cherry Bowl at Fox Hollow Swim Club on July 25, 2026; a Jewish Federation of South Jersey tent permit covering Aug. 15–Sept. 30, 2026 at 1301 Springdale Road (30-day period); and a Tattoo Expo scheduled Sept. 18–20, 2026 at the DoubleTree. Two neighborhood block parties — Willowdale (Blue Jay Lane) on July 18 and Old Orchard (Wheelright Lane) on July 25 (rain date) — were also listed and approved.
The motion to approve the applications was made by Council Vice President Michele Golkow and seconded by Councilwoman Jennifer Apell. The minutes record that Vice President Golkow abstained on the Jewish Federation of South Jersey license. These approvals allow the events to proceed subject to any permit conditions and applicable public-safety requirements.
