HUNTSVILLE, Utah — The Planning Commission on July 23 tabled a land-use permit application from Paul Stringham for an accessory pole barn at 6618 E 100 S (Parcel #240170033) after a recent boundary survey revealed a 54-foot discrepancy between the recorded line and the existing fence.
Stringham told the commission the family wants to place the pole barn as far back on the lot as possible but needs the boundary issue resolved first. Commissioners discussed setbacks and agreed that tabling the permit until the property-line discrepancy is cleared was the appropriate action. Chairman Allen Endicott moved to table; the motion passed unanimously.
The commission recorded no variance or approval; next steps are for the applicant to resolve property-line boundaries (for example by obtaining an updated recorded survey) and then resubmit or return to the commission for action.
