Chairman Jim Curran approved a property-use request for the No Kings 3 Rally scheduled Saturday, March 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Commissioner Sharon Tyler asked that Christie provide a list of rules for political activity on county property (for example, prohibiting sign staking) to accompany the approval notice.
During public comment, Mike Haskins of Pipestone Township discussed the possible dissolution of the Village of Baroda and said the Village of Eau Claire has had similar discussions. Haskins also stated that Southshore Railway "operates at a loss because they are not able to provide the number of roads needed," raising concerns about local transportation capacity in areas considering dissolution.
