Kenton County Fiscal Court approves resolutions, consent agenda and executive orders in unanimous votes

At its July 14 meeting the Kenton County Fiscal Court approved several routine items by voice vote. Treasurer Kurt Greivenkamp explained Resolution No. 26-16, the annual application to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for reimbursement of non-public school transportation expenses; the court approved the resolution unanimously 4-0. Spencer Stork presented Resolution No. 26-17 listing roads maintained by the Fiscal Court; it was approved unanimously 4-0.
The court approved the consent agenda—covering agreements such as the 2026 Kentucky Waste Tire Management Program, software-licensing renewals with CentralSquare, IPS access-control renewals, concrete bid acceptances, a sanitary sewer easement, and continued delegated authority for PDS to administer state building and mechanical codes—by a single voice vote (4-0). The fiscal court also approved Executive Orders 26-67 through 26-71 addressing personnel: appointment of Noah Bell as police officer recruit; terminations in Animal Services and Public Works; appointment of Whitney Quint as interim Animal Services Director; and termination of a canine behavior coordinator; each passed 4-0 by voice vote.
These votes were procedural and noncontroversial in transcript discussion; no roll-call tallies were recorded beyond the unanimous voice approvals. The court adjourned following completion of business.
