Tourism spending up slightly in Boyle County; labor income and tax receipts rise

Clinton and court members framed those gains as evidence of tourism’s role in local economic development and employment.
Court members praised the trend and discussed promotional and banner projects for Junction City and other local tourism efforts; Clinton noted the state’s Tourism Economics methodology beginning with a 2018 benchmark and compared county growth to state averages.
