Mark Heyliger of the Road Department briefed the Administration Committee on resurfacing work and administrative matters. Heyliger said he will contact Wightman to obtain an hourly cost to serve as the County’s Engineer of Record and provided background on two resolutions on the agenda.
Heyliger told the committee that "The county will provide $769,384 to MDOT for the resurfacing work" on the multi-year M-139 project so work is not duplicated. He also said the county-wide mileage resolution is the same as the previous year and that a road name change did not affect total mileage. The briefing was informational; related resolutions appear on the committee's signed list.
