The Chair closed the public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant homeowner rehabilitation application after noting there were no public commenters. “Open the public comment, and there is nobody here,” the Chair said, and the board then closed the hearing.
The board adopted a resolution authorizing submittal of a CDBG application to the state housing authority to support homeowner rehabilitation. A staff member presented the resolution and the board voted in favor. During the discussion a member confirmed the grant figure under consideration was $400,000. The resolution was recorded as item 2026-06 and the motion to authorize the application passed by voice vote.
